RCN ENGINEERING Srl was founded in 1995 by Stefano Ricchi and Elena Calvi . The Company could rely on the Stefano’s forty years’ experience in the glass industry combined with the glazier’s tradition of the Calvi family.
RCN started the business issuing a new technique for glass slumping based on the control of different temperatures thus allowing the production of totally clear and perfect glass wash-basins.
Since that time, the company had a progressive growth based on the self-improvement, self-motivation and self-discipline of its staff.
In 2002, RCN issued the first laminating kiln, bagging system, designed according to the market demands for glass safety products, and continued on this line until the present day, upgrading its experience in lamination, achieving a high level equipment quality combined with a prompt, reliable and professional service.
In the last ten years, the objective was to offer a versatile laminating machine able to satisfy the needs for fast production and logistics. Powerlam: the first innovative laminating line, bag-free, reducing production timing was issue in 2009. Doing so, RCN has proved to have an omnidirectional mind able to satisfy the requirements of the most demanding customers.
