October 22 to 25, Italian companies specialized in glass processing return to Düsseldorf

21 October 2024 – GIMAV, the Italian Association of Glass Processing Machinery and Accessories Suppliers, showcasesItalian Glass Excellence at Glasstec 2024, the German show focused on manufacturers of glass processing machinery and systems, held in Düsseldorf October 22nd to 25th.

“Participation in international trade shows is a valuable opportunity to strengthen the visibility of Italian businesses on the global stage, charting the course that will lead us to VITRUM25, the momentous appointment in September,” remarked Fabrizio Cattaneo, Director of GIMAV. “These events are a unique moment to measure ourselves against the industry’s leading players. Our presence, however, is not only a question of visibility but also an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and be inspired by new trends that are redesigning the future of the glass industry,” he concluded.

While decarbonization, digitization and the circular economy are increasingly central to our industry, Made in Italy glass processing products of excellence are at the forefront in facing the challenges of the ecological transition, the tech revolution and the impact of the application of artificial intelligence. With determination and a pioneering spirit, an ever-increasing number of companies, representative of a key link in the glass supply chain, is engaged in this odyssey of innovation and sustainability. Its commitment to digitization, energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact is a cornerstone in the future of the industry. GIMAV is participating in Glasstec at Pavilion 16 Stand C07. Of a total of nearly 150 Italian exhibitors, 43 GIMAV members are taking part in the show. About twenty of them are combined under the banner of Italian Glass Excellence, to represent the tradition and innovation interwoven in their products, thanks to the passion and expertise of Italian manufacturers, and to shine a spotlight on the creativity and originality that set them apart.
