Please be advised that the AI ​​Office of the European Commission and the Permanent Representation in Italy, in collaboration with Confindustria and Anitec-Assinform, are organizing for next April 11th from 10am to 12.30pm in Rome (Spazio Europa, Via IV Novembre 149) the event “AI for European Competitiveness: Presentation of the European Artificial Intelligence Office, Innovation Opportunities and Implementation of the AI ​​Act”” presentation in Italy of the AI ​​Continent Action Plan, the European Commission's plan for the development of investments in the AI ​​field.

The meeting is aimed at businesses and will be an opportunity to delve deeper into the technical profiles of the plan and to discuss with Lucilla Sioli, Director of the European Artificial Intelligence Office and with the Commission's AI representatives. The Plan, it will be recalled, was announced by President Ursula Von Der Leyen at the AI ​​Summit in Paris (https://digital-strategy.ec.europa.eu/en/news/eu-launches-investai-initiative-mobilise-eu200-billion-investment-artificial-intelligence) and aims to develop Europe as an AI Continent.

Finally, during the meeting there will be the opportunity to delve deeper into the impact of the AI ​​Act on innovation and businesses, the startups and scale-ups as well as to acquire information on initiatives for innovation aspects and on the regulatory sandboxes provided for by the AI ​​Act.
