BOTTERO SPA has been manufacturing machines and systems for processing glass for over 51 years, from the first tilting tables to the first automatic lines, creating the world’s first machine for cutting laminated glass in 1975, moving on to CNC technology cutting machines in the 1980’s and the modular series of the 1990’s. This is the result of the continuous work of the most qualified technicians to find quality solutions at reasonable prices for the company’s international customers. The design of the machines, as well as the study and construction of special systems to suit individual customer requirements, takes place entirely within the company. The product range is undoubtedly the most extensive that any company is able to supply, with individual machines and lines for the straight and shaped cutting of float glass, with manual or automatic breakout, as well as multiple solutions for laminated glass, from the simple semi-automatic machine, to the super productive X-Y line (now also available in a vertical version).
Bottero has also developed a full line of loading and stacking equipment, including the most sophisticated systems, such as automatic bridge cranes or automatic shuttle stores, and even a fully automatic leftover subplates recovery machine.
These are joined by the range of edging machines, designed and manufactured in the Trana factory, includig: bevellers, straight line edgers, also with variable angle, shape edgers, flat and pencil edge double edgers, drilling machines, drilling lines and CNC numeric control drills.

In addition to standard machines for handling, cutting, edging float and laminated glass, the BOTTERO Engineering division supplies “turnkey” systems for the manufacture of float glass and laminated glass. Customer support is guaranteed by an impressive technical service network which comprises, in addition to the parent company, branches in Germany (BOTTERO GmbH), the USA (BOTTERO FLAT GLASS INC.), China (BOTTERO GLASS MACHINERY SHANGHAI), France (BOTTERO FRANCE), Brazil ( BOTTERO DO BRASIL ) and England (BOTTERO UK), as well as agents/distributors who assist BOTTERO customers in over 50 countries throughout the world.
Since October 2001, the extensive range of products supplied by Bottero S.P.A. has expended even more, thanks to the creation of Bimatech s.r.l., a company specialised in the production of Numeric Control work centres.
The combination of the specific experience of Mr.Paci and Mr.Tamburini, founders and Directors of the company and the considerable, efficient production capacity of Bottero S.p.A., has made it possible to fulfil the customer needs all over the world with more than 350 machines, in less than five years.
