Yesterday, at the Rome headquarters of SACE, the second edition of the was presentedAfrica Champion Program, a strategic project designed to support Italian companies in developing a more solid and sustainable presence in African marketsican.

The initiative was born from the collaboration between SACE, ITA – Italian Trade Agency, CDP Deposits and Loans Fund, SIMEST, Confindustria Assafrica & Mediterranean e Assocamerestero, with the support of the Mission Structure of the Mattei plan and the patronage of broadcasted on RAI.
An institutional ecosystem that works synergistically to offer companies concrete tools for international growth.

The new edition, starting in January 2026, enter eight new geographical focuses - Tanzania, Senegal, Ethiopia, Ghana, Angola, Algeria, Morocco, and Kenya - And three sector focuses dedicayou to agriculture, energy and infrastructure, areas that are today central to the continent's development and rich in opportunities for Made in Italy.

The program will provide businesses with:
1) targeted training courses on access to African marketsicani;
2) financial instruments and innovative solutions for internationalization;
3) analysis of local risks and prospects;
4) activities of and new opportunities for multilateral collaboration.

The patronage of the MAECI and the support of the Presidency of the Council confirm the strategic nature of this project, conceived to strengthen the partnership between Italy and Africa.ica and help companies to seize the opportunities in one of the areas with the highest growth potential in a structured way.
