GIMAV is the Association that brings together Italian manufacturers and suppliers of machines, accessories, facility e special products for glass processing.

Founded in 1980, the Association today constitutes a fundamental point of reference for the entire sector in Italy and abroad.

Adheres to Confindustria e Federmacchine and in its activity it has achieved a very high level of representativeness of the entire glass processing chain, assuming an irreplaceable role towards all public and private institutions.

The turnover of the companies associated with GIMAV constitutes, in fact, approximately 80% of the total turnover of the sector and 77% of the total export of Italian producers of machines, accessories and special products intended for glass processing.

The validity and reliability of the initiatives that characterize the Association's activity are confirmed by the exceptional level of loyalty of the membership base, which has grown constantly over the years.

The initial founding nucleus was joined by large entrepreneurial groups, but above all by those small and medium-sized companies that represent the true face of the sector and are its indisputable backbone.

The importance of each component, the respect for their respective roles and the opportunity for everyone to participate and contribute to the political and management choices of the Association, has given life to a cohesive group with a strong international personality.
